Deula Nienburg / Germany LTT
Learning, Teaching, Training (LTT) Activity of our project named “Sustainable Agriculture and Life & Living Soil”, which is being carried out under the coordination of our Provincial Directorate within the scope of Erasmus+ Vocational Education Strategic Partnership projects, was held between 20 – 26 February 2022, hosted by our German partner Deula Nienburg GMBH.
In the project coordinated by Konya Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry; From Turkey, Selçuk University Faculty of Agriculture, KOP Regional Development Administration, Konya Karaman Agricultural Cooperatives Regional Union, University of Cordoba from Spain, Lega Regionale delle Cooperative e Mutue from Italy, DEULA-Nienburg GmbH from Germany and European Protectorate from Belgium There are 8 institutions and organizations in 5 countries, including the Agricultural Federation.
Hosted by our German partner DEULA-Nienburg in Lower Saxony, Germany; Agricultural characteristics and current developments in Germany, educational opportunities in sustainable agriculture, agricultural education systems, e-learning materials in Sustainable Agriculture, Sustainable weed and pest management, robotic technology and strategies in weed management, Smart and precision farming techniques, Agriculture 4.0, Sustainable Innovative approaches to dairy farm and livestock management, water and energy cycle in dairy cattle farms, use of renewable energy sources in sustainable agriculture (Biogas, Bioenergy, Biofuel, solar panels and wind energy), organic fertilizer, climate change CO2 sink and CNG/LNG development Training was received on technical solutions, implementation of EU standards and environmental standards stipulated by the law.
In addition, our project participants received hands-on training on sustainable agriculture and animal husbandry at Deula Nienburg practical training workshops, 3N Kompetenzzentrum, RZB Derboven Dairy cattle farm, Bremerhaven climate house on climate change and its problems, established on an area of 6 hectares.
Technical personnel, trainers, farmers and agricultural consultants responsible for agricultural training and extension studies related to sustainable agriculture from 5 countries participated in the training held in Germany. The professional knowledge and skills of the participants increased in line with the principles of sustainable preventive agriculture, the transfer of innovative approaches and digital technologies between the partners, and the contribution to increasing the quality and capacity of vocational training.
The training activity hosted by DEULA-Nienburg, the German partner of our project, has been successfully completed. The fact that our host partner and partner institutions have direct national and international successful studies in the field related to our project has contributed greatly to our project and will continue to do so.
The work done on our project is also shared on our project’s social media accounts (Instagram: livingsoils_project, Facebook: Living Soils) and on the websites of partner institutions.
